Less new chapters
My idea is that chapters should be released farther apart. The only reason I say this, is that people who don't eat, breathe, and sleep Guild Wars will have harder and harder times accomplishing things in the new chapters.
I, for one, have a character of each profession. Only one has completely finished Profecies, 3 Factions, and none for Nitefall yet. If I continue to buy the new expansion packs, I'll never finish anything.
Thats not the only reason. For people who pvp, to unlock the "best" skills and items from each chapter can be difficult as more and more are added on. The time required to get all the things you need will be more and more. Casual gamers who don't have the time to get all of this stuff are going to have difficult times doing anything.
Now, my suggestion is that they slow down their chapter production, perhaps 1 a year instead of 6 months. Now I realize that they get most of their profit from the release of chapters. I would also say that it would be nice to see small add-ons in the game store such as extra areas (new SFs), new professions, or even items.
Just would like to hear people's thoughts.

I vote no. I already done all I need on all three chapters, so I'm just farming and LB farming for now. May start a new pve ranger but that doesn't mean I don't want a new chapter.
Just because you don't have time to go through 3 chapters with 10 characters doesn't mean that others who either have more time or are only playing through with 5 characters should wait for you to get done.

I also vote no. I'm one of the 'casual' players that can only play during spare time, and I still disagree. I may not be able to play as much as some of the 30+ hrs a week people, but I can still get things done on my hour here and hour there. Also, your ideah would completely conflict with Anet's business model. If chapters were released further apart, they wouldn't have the income to keep the servers running. Also, you aren't obligated to buy the next one right away. It's not like you're screwed if you don't. A lot of the new skills in each subsequent chapter are just re-hashes of old ones. That allows someone that starts at NightFall to compete with someone using Prophecies and Factions. Plus there are always the core skills. Sorry, I'd rather not end up paying a monthly fee and have to pay for the yearly expansion.

6 months is plenty of time to finish a campaign... even for the most casual of players.
The fact that you have three characters that finished Factions between May and now adds support to this fact.
And once the story is done and over with (for some people, several times) there's not a lot to do except grinding/farming and PvP, which can't keep everyone entertained forever... I think 6 months is good, provided they can keep the quality of content relatively high.

I vote no cos how many players decide to make a PVE char of every proffesion?
I have plenty of time to focus on my main char (elly) and also have a rit and monk. I realised after the third char that it was repetitive, tedious and too much bother to play PVE 3 times over, so I stopped making PVE chars.
Also, GW is free and A-net need to release a new chapter every 6 months to make money. Thats fine for me, as long as it remains free to play.

you don't have to buy the new chapters all at ones you know, if you haven't complete chapter 3 you don't have to buy chapter 4 on the release day..

You know... guru is mainly full of people who 'eat live and breathe guild wars'. This probably isn't the right place to start a complaint. But I personally vote yes, I've gotten one character done in prophecies, one in factions, and none in nightfall. Why? I love to farm when I'm on. I hate dealing with retards in groups that run off. (No more healing fo joo!) I have 8 lvl 20s too o.O

I agree that the release between campaignes should be a bit further apart, because there is alot of stuff to do in each one.
To simply finish a campaign isnt always the be-all-and-end-all of the game. There are titles and elite areas to explore. Hero amors to now collect and so on.
But to say that we dont have enough time to complete the main storyline between release dates is wrong.
I dont live and breath GWs, and at only about 1 or 2 hours a night I was able to complete NF in just over a month with 100% exploration and protector.
The campaigns arent hard to do, and dont take a long amount of time.
If you have around 8 characters, and your trying to do them all at the same time, then I can only suggest focusing on one at a time. Its going to take longer if you try to get more then one through NF at a time.
I have an ele who got through all 3 campaigns and got 100% and protector on all and thats only after just over a year of playing.
I can only suggest as I said above, to focus on one char at a time. You'l soon have him/her through NF if you do so.
Good Luck.

I definitely agree -- quality would be better too. But, it's (probalby) already happening. It is said that Chapter 4 is unlikely to be released by the end of April.

6 months works for me even though I will never get through everything. I only finished Factions with one of my characters, haven't finished Nightfall yet. I always have quests and missions that need to be done and I play 7 PvE characters - - I see that as a *good thing*.

I'm in favor of this.
I like to play slowly, doing everything, getting some extras like equipment and skills etc.
For PvP, there are now already many new skills in the game that keep it from a theoretical stalemate. Piling more on top doesn't provide enough benefit (i.e., more variation when there is plenty available already) to outweigh the drawbacks-- by that I mean that it will become more and more a rock-paper-scissors kind of game, in which 8 players cannot hope to deal with the large majority of opposing builds. There is a very good reason for a game like chess having a very limited set of rules and possibilities, and that game is very old and successful. Also, each new chapter seems to come with some strangely abusable/bugged/overpowered skills that are nerfed only (much) later on, which creates an unfair balance towards exploiters gaining fame/champ points etc.
Of course, having said that, you should realize that Anet will NEVER slow the pace of chapters down, as it is their one source of revenue.
